It is with deep sadness that the Knox County Scenic Drive Committee announces the cancellation of the 2020 Knox County Scenic Drive. After exhaustive discussion, we find we are unable to comply with the current mandates of phase IV of the Restore Illinois plan. We look forward to seeing you all during the 2021 Knox County Scenic Drive.
2021 Dates October 2nd-3rd and 9th-10th
Knox County Scenic Drive - Since 1976!

The Knox County Scenic Drive
A self-guided car tour, allowing you to navigate your way through the small towns of Knox County, displaying the best they have to offer.
You will encounter old traditions, crafts and skills at each of the stops along the way. Two one-room schoolhouses, four buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, a railroad depot, an 1832 log cabin, museums and century old chapels will be open for visitors to explore.
Each stop emphasizes a unique aspect of our rural heritage, but they are all bonded together by a fun, friendly atmosphere with plenty to see and do for the entire family.
Remember this is a farming community and the farmers will possibly be working on their harvest.
